Info Edge India, promoter company of India’s famous job site Naukri is planning to setup an online social network for the Indian students. All the current sites are focused on everything apart from Education and Studies. Hopefully, this new network will complement the existing ones as they plan to launch a new website for the education space and make it a knowledge interchange platform.
We had done a survey of some parents, whose kids attend elite schools in North India. Most of them were concerned about exposing their kids to Web Junk. Parents didn’t mind spending more on broadband or for the content if networks offer learning and interaction opportunity to students which will enhance their skills and help them shape their career.
