- Vodafone India added 1.37 mn. Subscriber base at 38.56 mn
- BSNL added 0.912 mn . Subscriber base at 31.945mn
- Idea Cellular added 0.8mn. Subscriber base at 20.22 mn
- Aircel added 0.5mn. Subscriber base at 9.02 mn
- Spice added mere 91K. Subscriber base at 3.6mn
- MTNL added 63K users. Subscriber base at2.88mn
All India GSM subscriber base now stands at 165.8 million [includes Reliance Communications’ GSM numbers until October-2007]
